Un Autre Journal is a questioning of normality; a collective creation project with a group of people in Marseille who suffer or have suffered from mental health disorders; an exploration along the boundary between the sick and the healthy, the artist and the amateur. Powerful perspectives that break down barriers. Sensations beyond categorization. A fragile bridge between inner and outer worlds. This book is the result of four years of collective creation within the Un Autre Journal project, born from the encounter between photographer Stephanos Mangriotis, nurse Carole Coquantif, and psychiatrist Charlotte Lenoir around a shared desire to offer a space for expression that extends beyond a simple occupational workshop. Equipped with an analog camera, each participant documents daily life. Weekly meetings, held outside psychiatric institutions, are organized to look at preview prints and discuss them.
