Stephanos Mangriotis is an independent photographer and film maker. He was born in Athens and now lives in Marseille where he elaborates long term projects on immigration, borders and marginality. In 2011, he published « Europa inch’Allah » with Images Plurielles editions in Marseille, about migrants stuck in Patras awaiting to cross-over to Italy. His work has been exhibited at Boutographies, Sept off, Phot'Aix photography festivals in France and at the FID international documentary film festival in Marseille. In 2015, he directed a short multimedia story about the feeling of being « in-between » that was shown internationally on internet platforms and selected at the Nuits Photographiques Festival in Paris.
